The Pant Suit: Closet essential

The Pant suit has become an "essential" in a trendy lady's closet; dressed up or down, it is one outfit that is very versatile. When you own a two-piece pantsuit, you can wear it as it is to work, to meetings, to church, brunch, seminars and even weddings to mention a few. You can also break down the two piece by pairing the blazer with other clothing items in your closet. A blazer can be layered over a dress to wear to pretty much any event or it can be paired with a white button down and a pair of denim for a classy casual look. The pants in the two piece can also be paired with a lot of items in your closet and this versatility in dressing makes the pant suit a needed clothing essential. Another reason is just the classy and "boss look" of the pant suit and this is why the pink pant suit was chosen as the theme look for today's post.

                                                                        The Pink Pant Suit

As we all know by now, October is breast cancer awareness month and pink is the color that is usually associated with this awareness/campaign. Pink, previously regarded as a girlie color is now the color that symbolizes strength for breast cancer patients and survivors. Style a pink pant suit this month to show awareness and strength for all women in matters relating to their health and if you are not into the full pink pant suit look, a pink blazer can be a great piece to style and wear at this time. ASOS has a wide variety of pant suits on sale currently if you need to add a few to your closet. Styling a pink pant suit as well as any other color of suit is really easy depending on whether you want it casual or a little formal. You can style it very trendy with sneakers and a bucket bag for the cool, edgy look like in the style board above or in my previous post here. Also, you can style it with a simple blouse and sandals like I did in the pic above. Another styling tip for wearing pant suits is to mix and match. In the pic above that I took a couple of years ago, I'm actually wearing a pink thrifted blazer which I paired with pink cropped denim that I purchased from Victorias' Secret Catalogue years back. The key is to make sure the colors match as much as possible. What makes this "styling" work is that the different pieces (blazer and pant) can be very edgy and fun when they are of different textures or cut. Check out more pink items in the shopping links below and do not forget to go to your primary care clinic for your annual physical and breast examination. Our body is the temple of God and we need to take care of it. Thank you so much for stopping by.

*Bible Verse of the Day.

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
